Course Description:

This course is designed to introduce newly hired Simulation Operations Specialists to essential medical terminology. By the end of this course, participants will be able to understand and use basic medical terms, facilitating effective communication with medical educators, physicians, nurses, and EMS personnel.

• Understand and identify basic medical terminology, including prefixes, suffixes, and root words, to comprehend common medical terms used in healthcare.
• Apply medical terminology accurately in written and verbal communication within simulation operations, including scenario writing, documentation, and interaction with medical staff.
